In this episode, Matt and Billy answer some questions on evangelism, the new covenant and the Book of Life.
Going over our study on 1 John 2:19, in that were those who left the faith ever really saved?
This is part 3 of 3 on a study on whether or not a true believer can walk away from their faith.
A reading of our study by the same name, "Apostasy and the removal of the Spirit".
Part 2 of 3 on our discussion on the doctrine of eternal security, or if it is possible for a true believer to abandon the Lord and fall away from the faith.
A recording of our study, The Gospel of John the Baptist, Jesus, and the Disciples.
In this article we will look at John the Baptist, Christ, and the disciples, and show that they taught the gospel before Christ was crucified. We will clearly show that specific knowledge of Christ and His work, specifically His death, burial, and resurrection, was not a requirement to preach the gospel and was not a required piece of knowledge in order to be saved by the gospel.
They taught the same gospel that has been preached since the beginning; repent and trust in God for your salvation, and follow Him in faith. By obeying the gospel, God will forgive you of your sin, and credit you with righteousness, all based on the atoning work of Christ on the cross.
Part 1 of 3 on a series looking at the doctrine of eternal security; on whether a person of genuine faith can abandon their faith and commit apostasy.
In this episode, Matt and Billy discuss some foundations of salvation, specifically the "credits" we receive by faith.
Matt's study on showing that anyone who believes the atonement of Christ is for everybody cannot hold that position unless they agree that God has made a way for all to be saved.
